Susan loves her Utes blanket from Randah!
Nico is immensely enjoying her lotion and scarf I got for her
And I absolutely LOVED my Mamma Mia DVD, although Susan tried to trick me by giving me another DVD wrapped up. Sneaky Sneaky
Once we got home, we decided to open stockings. Everyone was thrilled about their stocking stuffers! Playboy Playing cards, Gandolfo gift card and a truth & dare game... Who could ask for more!!
HOWEVER... I believe I received the greatest gift of the night...
It's a photo of my beloved Joel McHale! It's definitely going in a frame to hang next to my bed. Darn you Joel for being married. DARN YOU!!
We melted. They made sure we were alright and then quickly ran in the house to detect the level of carbon monoxide. However, we were unaware that you're not supposed to open any windows or doors when your CO detectors go off, you're just to immediately evacutate the area. By opening windows and doors, the outside air will dilute the amount of CO which makes it harder for the hot firemen to get an accurate reading. Which is exactly what happened. The hot firemen couldn't find any readings of carbon monoxide in our house. They determined it was faulty batteries and suggested we replace them. The hot firemen stuck around for a little while afterwards to chit chat about football and "The Big Game" on Saturday with us girls. It turned out to be a pretty awesome night. I am so grateful to be part of a country where service men and women risk their lives daily to protect us. God bless America!
