We got more bounce in CALIFORNIA then all y'all combined!!

My friends and I headed down to Long Beach, CA this last weekend. Oh My, what a good time we had! Our purpose in driving 1500 miles in 3 days was to see Mr. Joel McHale, the host of my favorite television show. THE SOUP. It was worth every second of the drive. Of course, 4 fun single girls make the most out of every second and it turned out to be the bestest road trip EVER.

On the way down, we took a detour to Buffalo Bills to ride the famous Desperado roller coaster. I think my skin flew off of my face for a breif moment, but it was great. We also rode a ride called Turbo Drop. This ride is pretty much the same as "The Rocket" at Lagoon, but A LOT more sketchy. And that includes the ride operator.

IT'S MILEY!! But really... It's Joel! AMAZING. Friday night we went to the Long Beach convention center to see Joel. He signed a few things for Susan and I after the show (he didn't spell my name right, but of course I'll forgive him). We chatted it up with him for about 10 minutes and then we were on our way. It was a great night.

Saturday we drove down to Laguna Beach, My home town! I gotsta represent ya heard. We had so much fun playing on the beach and walking around all the cute little shops they have.

We met a guy on the beach that had a few exotic birds. He let us hold and take pictures with the parrots. Thank the heavens they were potty trained!

After we spent a few hours in Laguna Beach, we drove to Newport Beach. (I still miss Ryan, Marissa, Seth & Summer) It was perfect weather. Sunny and warm! We played in the sand and took a quick dip in the ocean. BURRR. I think I could live on the beach. My new ambition in life is to become a beach bum. I didn't realise just how much I missed the smell and feel of beach life. *tear*

We were able to visit the Newport Beach Temple that afternoon. Beautiful.
